Born out of the sea's lust for the land, Argos emerged on the Achaean shore at high tide. Raised by a family of coastal shepherds, Argos grew to be a child of formidable strength, so much so that he attracted his father's attention. In a bid to protect him from his parentage, he was sent to live and train with the dryads.

Aside from his notable strength, Argos's parentage has offered him the blessings of both Poseidon and Gaia. He possesses the ability to walk on water as though it were land. His eyes were also kissed by the Aurae, gifting him the power of prophecy through visions. These visions aid Argos in combat as well as in his duties as oracle.
